Overall, I really enjoy using mentimeter in my demo teaching. However, questions and quizzes are limited as I only use the free version. But, as my resourcefulness is tested, I know it helps me improve my creativity.
Advantage: What I love about mentimeter is that it really gives the teacher the opportunity to make the session fun. As we are in a pandemic here in the Philippines, our primary medium of instruction is online classes. That's why nowadays there are apps that make the class active, engaging and not boring, one of them is mentimeter. Thanks to our creativity, we can organize games or any other relevant activity for students using polls, surveys, quizzes, etc. whose responses can be seen in real time. Which means it can be a form of formative assessment as it is an opportunity for us to give immediate feedback on some mistakes that students are able to make.
Disadvantages: What I like least about this software is the limited number of questions and quizzes per presentation. However, I think it gives us the opportunity to be resourceful. If I have the opportunity to have something to recommend in their company, I will tell them that there must be a way to give a discount for students. It would be very helpful, especially for education students.

My experience with Mentimeter has been quite happy. It helped me reach a wide range of learners through the use of a real-time leaderboard that got learners excited.
Advantage: Mentimeter helps me conduct interactive polls and quizzes with pleasant background music to engage the audience. I'm quite impressed with the live word cloud maker feature and the beautiful visualization that makes it easy to use. It has always been a fun and interactive experience for me and my learners.
Disadvantages: The font size of the question options is too small, so it is not easily visible to learners. 2. Buying the software as an individual is a bit difficult, as some credit cards are not accepted for international payments.

My experience with customer support is deplorable. My first interactions were with a robot, which could not solve my problem. I was then in contact with a human (?) who still hasn't solved my problem. I stated the problem, and 24 to 48 hours later, I received a response that did not address it. I would respond immediately and 24-48 hours later another person or robot would respond. It's been a week now and I still don't have a solution. Their schedules seem to be modeled on those of the Euro, without assistance on weekends. I requested a refund and received no response. This whole experience has been disappointing.
Advantage: Has many features to add interactivity. The functionality is easy to understand.
Disadvantages: Uploading a presentation proved difficult, even though it met the stated parameters. All options such as quizzes, polls, etc. were grayed out and inaccessible. The basic option is really basic. I upgraded to get improved functionality, but got nothing.

I have used Mentimeter to provide richer learning experiences in our business. It's easy to use and doesn't tend to disrupt the flow of the session (unless the wifi is acting up!). It is also excellent for anonymity and data analysis. Therefore, it is also ideal for focus groups and feedback sessions, as people feel more comfortable giving their opinion when it is anonymous.
Advantage: The Mentimeter is a new tool in our business, so most people have never had a chance to use it before. The interactive features are excellent and create a much more interesting experience. It's also extremely easy to use and looks like Powerpoint when creating your slides, giving it a familiar look.
Disadvantages: My only criticism is that the styling (ie look and feel) is a bit basic. The experience would be much better if the style could be different. But this is a relatively minor point.
