Good news: the Disney witches will be back on the Halloween date.

The release date for Hocus Pocus, the sequel to the 1993 Disney comedy, has been announced. Producer Adam Shankman announced on his account that the feature film sequel, Hocus Pocus 2, will be released to Disney+ streaming subscribers on Halloween, October 31, 2022. 

In the original comedy directed by Kenny Ortega, a curious young man named Max moves to Salem and struggles to integrate into the local community until he accidentally resurrects three witches, the Sanderson sisters, in the 17th century. 

In the sequel, the witches of modern Salem are brought back to life by three young women. They must find a way to stop child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world.
