Has Netflix renewed The Recruit for season 2?
Official renewal status: Boucle d'oreille
Our current renewal forecast: probable renewal
It's still a bit early to tell whether or not the series will return for a season 2, but we've heard from production sources in Canada that they are currently planning to move forward with a season 2.
Netflix has yet to officially renew or comment.
As you may know, Netflix does not publicly announce the criteria on which its series are renewed or canceled, but there is plenty of evidence on the metrics that help with renewal options.
If you're enjoying the show and want to repeat it, your best chance of that happening is to watch it to the end and then encourage others to do the same.
Have any of the cast or crew spoken about season 2 so far? Alexi Crawley hinted that talks have taken place, or at least a plan is in place.
In a Collider interview, Hawley spoke about his attitude at the start of Season 1 about future iterations, saying:
“I know things about where I would like to take it and where I would like to go with it. I mean obviously you expect success but as you can see with this ending I didn't plan for failure because I feel like in our time you just have to be bold, you have to be dramatic, to the detriment . And you can't worry about season 2, season 3 or beyond. You have to say, “What is the best version of this story right now? And trust that people will come. And then you'll have another chance. »

December 18, 2022 to December 25, 2022 | 95 (+590%) | 3 | 2 |
