– Reviews News
Over the past few hours, Microsoft released an important update regarding Xbox Game Studios productions and the ability to play them on the new Steam bridgewithout forgetting some news for those who intend to install Windows on the portable console.
Microsoft has indeed published a post on the official Steam site to inform players of the current state of compatibility of Xbox Game Studios products with the portable console.
Here is the full list of games featured in the Redmond giant's post:
Checked
- Death loop
- Psychonauts 2
- Sacrifice of Hellblade Senua
- The evil inside
- Fallout shelter
- Proie
- battle toads
- Max the curse of brotherhood
Playable but not verified
- Sea of Thieves
- Fallout 4
- Forza Horizon 5
- Forza Horizon 4
- Quantum rupture
- State of Decay Year One Survival Edition
Unsupported
- Speeds 5
- Halo The Master Chief Collection
- Infinite halo
- Microsoft X Flight Simulator
The other update comes from Valve, which released an update for Steam Deck that improves compatibility with Windows but it does not solve all its limitations. To date, users cannot take advantage of the dual boot present on the console and to install Windows 10, you must remove SteamOS. It also appears that Windows 11 is not yet compatible due to lack of support for the TPM 2.0, which will soon be presented. Finally, there is the lack of audio drivers for Microsoft's operating system and currently the only way to hear audio on Win10 is through a Bluetooth or USB-C device.
Did you know that there are over 1 verified or playable titles on the Steam Deck?
