Amazon pulls off a big shot, as anyone who wants to watch all seasons of the cult series 'Fargo' can now do so with Prime Video as part of the package – former Netflix viewers, on the other hand, won't get anything.
The “Fargo” series has been inspiring people since 2014 – an American detective series that is both a free adaptation and a kind of spin-off of Ethan and Joel Coen's cult 1996 film of the same name. Each season is autonomous and takes place at different times. Always first rate actors, we meet among others Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor and Chris Rock.
Amazon snatches Netflix season 4 from Fargo
Sales in this country, on the other hand, are anything but constant. Seasons 1-3 were and still are available on Netflix, while the long-awaited season 4 premiered at the end of 2020 on ProSiebenSat.1 Media's paid service Joyn - so even then Netflix was surprisingly empty-handed. As of now, season 4 is missing from Netflix – boring for fans.
However, those who have also subscribed to Amazon Prime Video can now look forward to it. Then since March 13 we have found the 4 seasons in the package (Watch Season 4 on Amazon Prime Video, Watch Seasons 1-3 on Amazon Prime Video). Viewers who still haven't seen Season 4 can finally catch up and those who are completely unfamiliar with Fargo finally have the opportunity to watch all seasons at once.
Fans have been waiting for it for a long time:
By the way: first a 5th season was recently confirmed, which should take place in 2019 and thus adopt a more contemporary atmosphere. It's probably due to shoot in late 2022, so a release could be in 2023 or maybe not before 2024. Either way, there's still plenty of time to watch all previous seasons on Prime Video by then.
