A bumpier iPhone Pro and Pro Max?

You might forget to mention Apple bumping up the iPhone 14's rear camera bump. Next-gen iPhone Pro and Pro Max models will actually extend the bump, analyst says Apple Ming-Chi Kuo.
The reason, he says, is to accommodate a wider camera with a 48PM lens, an improvement in 12MP lens health on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, Kuo tweeted on Sunday. This will cause the diagonal length of the camera to increase by around 33%, while its height will increase by around 10%, he said.
The main reason for the 14 Pro/Pro Max's larger and more prominent rear camera bump is the wide camera upgrade to 48MP (up from the 12 Pro/Pro Max's 13MP). The diagonal length of the 48MP CIS will increase by 25-35%, and the 7P lens height of the 48MP will increase by 5-10%. https://t.co/lrwgmnLNce

Kuo's prediction along with earlier predictions that the bump would be a redesign for upcoming flagship phones would remove the large camera bump, which houses two or three lenses depending on the iPhone 13 model. Leaker Jon Prosser, which has a hit-and-miss accuracy record, predicted the iPhone 14 would eliminate the bump entirely, which could mean a thicker chassis for the camera components.
Other iPhone 14 rumors have also suggested that Apple is swapping the front notch of the Pro models for a smaller punch hole camera – a screen with only a small circular cutout for the front camera. Another speculates that the Pro and Pro Max will have a hole and a pill-shaped cutout to accommodate the front camera and Face ID.
Apple is expected to hold its annual fall iPhone event in September, as it does almost every year, with the phones releasing soon after.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
