Seasons 1 and 2 of “American Crime Story” will leave Netflix in March 2022

The Ryan Murphy-produced American Crime Story anthology series will soon be leaving Netflix worldwide along with a host of other Disney-controlled content. Here's what you need to know and how much time you have left to watch.
The award-winning series first aired on FX, though it made its way to Netflix worldwide through a licensing deal. Each Netflix region received the first season in February 2017 and the second in
The first season was subtitled The People v. OJ Simpson and recounts the trial of OJ Simpson, which was called The Trial of the Century. It starred John Travolta, David Schwimmer, Sarah Paulson and Selma Blair.
The second season arrived in 2019 and was based on the killer named Andrew Cunanan who killed five people, including fashion icon Gianni Versace.
It should be noted that Netflix does not qualify shows as American Crime Story. Instead, they listed the two seasons separately as subtitles.
A fourth season of the series is said to be in preparation and will revolve around Studio 54.
When and why is American Crime Story leaving Netflix?
On February 11, we started to learn that Disney was getting a bunch of its titles back on Netflix, either letting licensing deals expire or buying out said licenses. The biggest of the eliminations is undoubtedly the Marvel series, which includes reckless et The punisher.
It also includes plenty of non-Netflix original branded content, such as pose et american horror story.
Following the expiration of this license, both anthology seasons are currently airing removal notice for March 1, 2022 worldwide.
What does this mean for American Crime Story: Impeachment?
Well, that probably suggests that Netflix won't be the recipient of the new season.
New seasons have always been available after approximately one year of premiere. This was the case for the first and second seasons.
American Crime History: Impeachment Therefore, it was supposed to arrive in the summer or fall of 2022. With the rights now purchased for the first two anthologies, it's very likely that we won't see Impeachment on Netflix.

Where will American Crime Story air next?
The deletion will almost certainly make its way to Hulu in the US and will be available on Disney+ internationally where Hulu does not operate. As the series is aimed at adults, it will be included among the Disney + Star offers along with others like american horror story.
