We will divide this article into two halves. First, we'll cover the Turkish series returning to Netflix before diving into some of the announced new projects in development.
It should be kept in mind that there will be many Turkish projects in development on Netflix which are not announced in advance. This is only to be expected, as Netflix's European team usually doesn't promote many of its upcoming Originals in advance.
Renewed Turkish shows return for new seasons on Netflix

After its debut in July 2022, other me it was renewed for a second season in September 2022, though it was notably omitted from the press release.
Created by Nuran Evren Şit, the soap opera series follows three friends who travel to a seaside town to hook up.

The show, which comes from production company Ay Yapim, was about a young fan's ambition to become a news presenter. The series was renewed in August 2022.
Fatima (Season 2)
Crime drama Fatma debuted on Netflix in April 2021 with six episodes and was renewed later that year.
Netflix has noticeably jumped Fatima season 2 in their press release for the upcoming Turkish series.
Midnight at Pera Palace (Season 2)
Created by Emre Sahin, Midnight at Pera Palace is the Turkish-language crime drama series set in a historic hotel in Istanbul.
It was renewed in the summer of 2022 after premiering on Netflix in March.
The club (Part 3)
Released more than 2 parts so far in 10 episodes, The club is the Netflix period drama series set in the 1950s and stars Gökçe Bahadır and Barış Arduç.
The series has been renewed for at least one more part.

New Turkish Shows Coming to Netflix in 2023 and Beyond

Produced by Tims & B Productions, this fantastic new series will be the first major Turkish series of 2023 for Netflix. It is written by Pinar Bulet and directed by Umur Turagay.
It's a gripping love story starring Serenay Sarıkaya and Burak Deniz and is about a woman on a journey to confront her grandfather.
The new mystery thriller hits Netflix worldwide on January 20, 2023.
The tailor
Seven episodes will air for this new Turkish drama based on a true story.
It's based on a young tailor who inherited his business from his successful grandfather after his surprise death. Her job is made even more difficult as she has to take care of her mentally ill father.
WWWRF
Based on the homonymous novel by Perihan Mağden WWWRF stands for Who Were We Running From. This is the escape story of a mother and daughter duo.
It comes from 1441 Production and stars Melisa Sözen.
The creature
Adapting the timeless novel Frankenstein from Mary Shelley's nearly 200-year-old novel, this Turkish retelling of history comes from acclaimed Turkish filmmaker Çağan Irmak.
According to Netflix, here's what you can expect:
“The creature focuses on one of humanity's most fundamental questions, 'death and the afterlife'. An adventurous, rebellious and horny young medical student, Ziya's greatest wish is to be a very good doctor and to cure many epidemics for which medicine cannot find a cure. Between madness and genius, Doctor İhsan, whom Ziya met in Istanbul, is almost the only person in the world who can understand him. These two eccentric and wounded souls will pay a heavy price for the secret and forbidden experiment they embarked on together.
Finally, on November 4, 2022, Netflix announced a number of upcoming series that will air in 2024.
These include:
- please – Created and directed by Özgür Önurme, Asaf tells the story of an ordinary Uber driver with strong moral values who tries to find a way to get his life back on track after separating from his wife and son. One day, an unfortunate accident changes forever the life of Asaf, who becomes the pawn of the bad people. Idea Film will produce Asaf.
- The city – From the perspective of acclaimed director Seren Yüce, written by Deniz Karaoğlu and Doğu Yaşar Akal, Bir Film's production The Town focuses on two brothers who have been separated over the years and reunited in their small hometown after the death of his mother. After discovering bags full of cash in the trunk of a wrecked vehicle with his faithful childhood friend, they find themselves caught in a game of cat and mouse, caught between a rock and a hard place. Will they give up on their dreams or take the only chance to change their lives?
- Untitled Berkun Oya Project – Beloved creator of Ethos and Cici, Berkun Oya is working on a new project for Netflix. A mother, a father and a child… The story follows a nuclear family and its journey through decades. As we see how family members confront and challenge each other and the society around them, the unorthodox narrative structure will allow viewers to immerse themselves in a unique realm of reality that includes life and the before, death and beyond.
- Kimler Geldi Kimler Geçti (WT) – The talented writer Ece Yörenç takes us into modern relationships through this fresh and contemporary romantic comedy with direction by Ay Yapım. It's an “extreme love” story with complicated relationships and a lot of energy. It's the story of different characters from a few weddings ago, or just after the “first love”, sometimes in the “bank”, sometimes in the “ghost”; some run, some hunt, caught up in teasing in search of relationships.
