Netflix continues to invest around the world and Poland is no different with over 20 projects in development right now. Below, we'll break down all the big movies and shows coming from Poland to Netflix globally.
In April 2022, Netflix released over 25 Netflix Original Polish Productions with highlights including mud, the forest, no one sleeps in the forestYes sexify. Netflix US currently streams 35 Polish titles in total (including licensed content).
Next, we'll preview all of Netflix's original Polish movies and shows coming in 2022 and beyond. We'll present some highlights, then dive into the full lists.
Polish Netflix Original Movies Coming Soon to Netflix
365 days: this day
Coming to Netflix: 27th April
This multilingual sequel (with Italian and English) to the wildly popular 365 Days, which surprised everyone by topping Netflix's top 10 throughout 2020, hits Netflix at the end of April.
The sequel is produced by Polish production company Ekipa, but this time it will be released as a Netflix Original.
Here's what you can expect from the sequel which sees the return of Michele Morrone, Anna Marja Sieklucka and Rebecca Casiraghi:

Coming soon to Netflix is Broad Peak, which has been in post-production for over a year. It is described as a "dramatic and epic story about the strength of the human spirit, inspired by real events".
The film is set in 1988 and sees a Polish climber making a very dangerous climb and only escaping from it by sheer luck.
It comes from Leszek Dawid, who made A bar at Victoria Station Yes You are god.
Christmas delivery
A romantic comedy about a thirty-year-old messenger who must save Christmas. Directed by Aleksandra Kułakowska and Maciej Prykowski.
- freestyle – The story of a young rapper who is in trouble. Directed by Maciej Bochniak and starring Maciej Musiałowski.
- HELL HOLE – The director of Netflix Originals No one sleeps in the woods tonight 1 and 2 (Bartosz M. Kowalski) returns for his next big project about the nightmare of a monk who has lost his faith and must battle supernatural forces and demons from his past.
- Mother's Day – Thriller film about a former special agent (played by Agnieszka Grochowska) who must use her unique abilities to save her kidnapped son. Directed by Mateusz Rakowicz
- Mr. Car and the Templars – Adaptation of a popular Polish novel directed by Antoni Nykowski.
- kindergarten night – Dark comedy about a preschool Christmas play that turns into the trial of a mischievous 5-year-old boy. Directed by Rafal Skalski.
- Hive – Described as a futuristic thriller directed by Mateusz Rakowicz.
- tonight you sleep with me – Adaptation of the homonymous romantic novel by Anna Szczypczyńska. Directed by Robert Wichrowski
Polish Netflix Originals Coming Soon to Netflix

Coming to Netflix: 22th April
The second language Polish (after the forest in 2020) coming to Netflix globally in late April.
The series tells about what happens in a suburb of Warsaw which is collapsing after a series of unfortunate events.
Detective Forst / Detective Forst
Based on the books of Polish writer Remigiusz Mroz, this new detective series "takes viewers on a crime-solving journey through the Polish Tatras".
Directed by Daniel Jaroszek and starring Borys Szyc.
- A girl and an astronaut – Futuristic drama series about two F-16 pilots who fight over a girl's heart while trying to get into space.
- dark stories – A group of strangers who accidentally leave in a car with two million zlotys, coming from a bank robbery.
- Erynia – New historical war series from director Borys Lankosz and based on the book by Marek Krajewski. Set in the 1930s in Lviv. It was originally slated to launch in 2021.
- Family Secrets – Comedy series about the "wedding day of a medical student and a wealthy plastic surgeon when the two families realize the only things they have in common are secrets and lies."
- Comments – Adaptation of a novel by Jakub Żulczyk on a “story of internal struggles and redemption”. Directed by Leszek Dawid and starring Arkadiusz Jakubik.
- Brilliantine – Set in the 1970s, this drama is about women living by their own rules. With Wiktoria Filus, Matylka Giegżno and Magdalena Popławska.
- Great Water / Wielka Woda – Limited series on a flood called “the flood of the millennium« 1997 in Poland produced by Telemark. Its arrival is scheduled for 2022.
- Infamy (working title) – A series that tells the story of a teenage gypsy who swings between the modern teenage world and the traditional gypsy rules while trying to find herself.
- lovzone – Drama about a budding filmmaker on the autism spectrum.
- Sexify (Season 2) – A second season of comedy-drama is on the way.
- The Green Glove Gang – Black comedy about three elusive and noble thieves hiding in a quiet nursing home.
- The Queen / Krolowa – A four-episode mini-series produced by Opus TV about a retired drag queen and tailor who left Poland to pursue a career in Paris.
