Xenoblade Chronicles 3, between war and violence: the Nintendo exclusive rated by the ESRB
– Reviews News
After the Australian ranking of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, theESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) has given its opinion on the new JRPG signed by Monolith.
The body in charge of the classification has indeed made public its assessment of the next exclusivity Nintendo Switch, coming to the hybrid console in the summer. The JRPG was also deemed suitable for a teenage audience, earning it the award of the “Teen” classification. However, the CERS wanted to emphasize certain representations of violence which will find their place in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
In particular, in the description of the title proposed by the institution, we learn that certain cutscenes will not fail to offer dramatic sequences, also depicting acts of suicide, with figures ready to shoot themselves or stab themselves with daggers. The latter will however take place off screen, and will therefore not be framed directly on the screen. Characters impaled by a sword and some scenes in which blood will be visible complete the picture drawn by the ESRB, which ultimately however did not consider it necessary to limit the use of the title to an informed public.
Waiting for the release date of the game, fixed for the next one July 29, 2022we report that on the pages of Everyeye there is a new preview of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 dedicated to the combat system of the JRPG and signed by our Antonello "Kirito" Bello.
