Ubisoft invites you to try its subscription service, Ubisoft+, for free on PC until October 10.
As one of the many Ubisoft Forward announcements from last night, Ubisoft is offering players the opportunity to "play your favorite franchises, challenge yourself and your friends, or create new worlds on PC with Ubisoft+, including new releases from day one.” and premium DLC editions”.
Ubisoft+: Get monthly rewards and play over 100 games.
There are two levels; you can either limit your access to the PC, where you have 30 days to try its library, premium editions and over 100 games, or opt for “multiple access” which offers the same but also the possibility of playing on Google Stadia via cloud gaming too.
“Play on any desktop, tablet or mobile device,” says Ubisoft. "The Multi Access plan is the best option to play on any device without worrying about a download or your PC's specs."
30 days is longer than what the subscription service usually offers, and that's plenty of time to finish the Assassin's Creed game you started but didn't finish, or try that DLC that you missed. As always, though, you'll be charged at the end of the period if you don't cancel in time, and unfortunately PC and Stadia are the only platforms currently available.
For more on last night's Ubisoft Forward results, check out our feature Ubisoft talks about Assassin's Creed Mirage, from Valhalla expansion to celebration of the standalone franchise. The evening was dominated by teases for two hit Assassin's Creed projects currently in development and a few mobile game projects, including one set in China. Of course, before all that, there's still next year's Assassin's Creed Mirage to look forward to.
We also found out that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is getting "Last Chapter" DLC, Rayman is coming to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, and Rainbow Six Mobile is launching a closed beta. Oh, and two new crossover characters are on their way to Brawlhalla a la Smash Bros.
