New home screen and lock screen backgrounds have arrived in iOS 15 - available in light or dark mode - building on the ability to make your iPhone "aesthetically pleasing". Changing your iPhone wallpaper is one of the easiest ways to spruce up your phone and give it some personality. As silly as it sounds, giving your iPhone a makeover with a new wallpaper (live or static), is a small but not insignificant way to get a virtual refresh. What better way to start spring than with a rejuvenating new background?
A phone background can feature cute animals, beautiful sunsets, a goofy meme, something related to your favorite fandom, and everything in between. And setting your phone wallpaper as the photo of a loved one is like keeping their photo in a locket or wallet.
If you're bored of your iPhone's stock images, here are five places to find new backgrounds — and how to change them in the first place.

How do I change my iPhone wallpaper?
Changing your iPhone wallpaper is pretty easy and there's more than one way to do it.
1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
2. Faucet Wallpaper.
3. Faucet Choose a new wallpaper.
4. Choose an image. Newer iPhones include moving wallpapers as well as dynamic, still, live images or one of your photos. New wallpapers often come with operating system updates.
5. Once you have chosen an image, you can adjust it to fit the screen as you wish.
6. You can also choose where you want the wallpaper to appear – home screen, lock screen or both.

2. Tap the share button at the bottom left.
3. Scroll down and choose Use as wallpaper.
4. Once you have chosen an image, you can adjust it to fit the screen as you wish.
5. You can also choose where you want the wallpaper to appear – home screen only, lock screen only or both.
If you're looking for something new, here are five sites to help you find the perfect iPhone wallpaper for any mood or occasion.
Pexels
1. Pexels
The Pexels website offers over 1 free iPhone backgrounds, with more being added every day. You can scroll through centuries of landscapes, fruit, surreal art, cityscapes and more. Just search for iPhone wallpaper on the site and apply the filters you want – orientations, sizes and color schemes. Uploading images is free, but if you want to add or collect images from the site, you need to create a free account.
When you find an image you like, tap it to view it and select Free Download. Pexels will download it directly to your phone – choose Files, and the image should be in Recent. If you like the photographer, Pexel will also provide their Twitter and Instagram information.

Another option for iPhone wallpapers is Pixabay. Similar to Pexels, just search for iPhone wallpaper in Pixabay to find a background you like. You can also filter photos, vector graphics, illustrations and more. Once you find an image, tap Free Download and choose the dimensions that best fit your phone.
You can create a free account on the site for your favorite images, but it is not mandatory to upload an image. Again, the image should go directly to Files in the Recent folder. Pixabay has a social media feel, and you can check out the photographer's page to message or follow them.

Like Pixabay and Pexels, Unsplash offers thousands of free images to find the perfect iPhone wallpaper. The site is like Instagram where you can follow photographers and artists, as well as like and collect images. Its more social features like collecting, starring, and following artists require you to create an account.

4.Pinterest
Pinterest is one of my favorite places to find phone wallpaper that matches my personality. Getting acquainted (or obsessed!) with the photo-sharing site isn't hard. Just download the free app and create an account – also free.
Find any image you like – or more specifically an iPhone wallpaper – and tap on it to open it. You'll see a Play button (opens related articles the image appears in) and Save (which lets you "pin" the image to a board.) Tap the three-dot Settings button for more options and choose Upload Image.
If you'd rather not engage with the app, you can open Pinterest in your mobile browser. You can search Pinterest images in Google. Tap on Image from there, tap the three-dot Settings button for more options and choose Upload Image.

5. Tumblr
Remember the blogging site Tumblr? It's still around and it's a fun place to find a new wallpaper for your phone. You'll need an account to fully explore the app, but like Pinterest, you can search for images from Tumblr through Google. To save a photo – in the app or via Google search – tap the photo, then press and hold. You can find the new image in your Camera Roll. For a dedicated wallpaper, you can search "iPhone wallpaper".
