Crown, the series based on the history of the British royal family, is close to return to the screen, as they experience a crucial stage in their plot following the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II.

What will happen in the new chapters?
Following the tradition of previous cycles, theThe fifth installment will have a completely renewed casta method that the production applies every two seasons to portray the different periods of the royal family.
Among the new players are Imelda Staunton replaces Olivia Colman like Queen Elizabeth II. During, Jonathan Pryce was cast as Charles' father, Prince Philip; Lesley Manville will play Charles' aunt, Princess Margaret; and Jonny Lee Miller will make an appearance as Prime Minister John Major.
Season 4, airing in November 2020, depicts the 1980s. While the fifth installment will follow the royal family through the 1990s.including one of the most important moments in its history, the so-called "annus horribilis", which translates to "terrible year", where in the year 1992, three of his four children became separated from their partners and Windsor Castle burned down.
Another of the events that should be described is the controversial interview between Princess Diana and the BBC's Martin Bashir in 1995, where she said the phrase she remembers "there were three people in my marriage", referring to Charles's lover (and now wife) Camilla Parker-Bowles.
As Queen Elizabeth died when the fifth season was already filmed, this event will not be depicted in the new episode.
