– Reviews News
Masahiro Sakuraithe director of Super Smash Bros Ultimateposted on Twitter onlast picture of the game taken from the debug version. From what the final tweet suggests, he intends to start something new, but no one knows what. Earlier this month, he mentioned that he was almost out of postable screenshots and now it's time to say goodbye.
Sakurai: " With this, I conclude the daily posting of Smash Ultimate images that I started in December 2019.
Thanks for your support! #SmashBros
Anyway… I was thinking of starting something new (this time it won't be daily).
Check back at the same time tomorrow for more information.«
The last image in question represents a hit the ballperfect to close the project, since in game it allows to bring a "final smash" attack.
It's unclear if Sakurai's new social project will still be for the Smash Bros. series. The game has now completed its development cycle, although there are still a few initiatives left to do with it, such as Steve and Alex's amiibo from Minecraft arriving in September 2022.
Sakurai has yet to announce his new plans, which may not even involve the video games (at least not directly).
