Last Friday, a new original series from the platform of those that exist with the wholesome aim of claiming the attention of fans of the old and wholesome horror genre landed on Netflix.
We refer to The Devil in Ohio, the series created by Daria Polatin and featuring Emilie Deschanel (bones) and alyssa newton.
If you often watch series while traveling or in various rooms of the house, these tablets can be good companions for entertainment consumption.

The Devil in Ohio tells the story of a mysterious young woman who appears wandering around in a nightgown with an inverted pentagram drawn on her back.
She is transferred to social services, where Suzanne (Deschanel), psychiatrist, takes care of her case. When young Helen is not in command at the only house available, Suzanne, who is also in foster care, decides to take her home with her husband and two children.
As it says in the title, Stephen Kingwho has become something of a "recommender", comments that he enjoys The Devil in Ohio.
However, the author of novels such as The Shining or Animal Cemetery has a problem with the credibility of the story told by the series.
King alludes to the fact that Suzanne, a seasoned psychiatrist who has seen hundreds of cases, takes Helen home without thinking for a moment, and without completing the assessment, to live with her family, and takes her to the institute where their daughters go .
THE DEVIL IN OHIO: I've enjoyed it so far, with one exception: Suzanne (a psychiatrist!) Simply throwing a traumatized and abused girl on her husband and daughters without discussion or preparation feels overbearing and deaf.

Likely, the series pulls from a storyline convenience that requires the relevant suspension of disbelief. While there are times when these scripting conventions are digestible, others, as may be the case with The Devil in Ohio, are too jarring.
