On the eve of her college graduation, Texan Natalie (Lili Reinhart)'s life splits into two parallel realities: one becomes a young mother residing in her former hometown. In the other, she doesn't get pregnant and moves to Los Angeles, where she pursues her dreams of a career as an artist.

Other roles in "Look Both Ways" include Luke Wilson, Danny Ramirez, Aisha Dee, Andrea Savage and Nia Long. The film was directed by Kenyan filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu, which strays from its usual subject. Kahiu is best known for her work in the Afrofuturist genre and for her dramatic explorations of life in her native land.
She directed a drama about the LGBTQ+ rights situation in Kenya with “Rafiki”, before directing a thriller drama with “From a Whisper” about the bombing of the American Embassy in Nairobi, which took place in 1998.
Another novelty: stories of nobility and fire
Alongside Look Both Ways, Norwegian teen romance Royalteen: The Heir is out today on Netflix. Directed by Per-Olav Sørensen and Emilie Beck, it is based on the first book in the Royalteen novel series created by Randi Fuglehaug and Anne Gunn Halvorsen.
In the series opener, Prince Karl Johan (Mathias Storhøi) develops feelings for his new classmate Lena (Ines Høysæter Asserson).
