Given the decline in the number of subscriptions, the service provider of Streaming Netflix has come up with a new model. As Bloomberg reports, the new subscription model is expected to include ads. Users only pay $7-9 for it, which is half the price of the most popular $15 subscription plan. Netflix is cooperating with US tech giant Microsoft to implement the new subscription model.
It has long been known that the greatest service of Streaming in the world is in crisis. After many years of unrestricted success, reports emerged earlier this year that the provider's subscriber count was dwindling for the first time.
Netflix now wants to attract new customers who do not mind a few advertisements between films or series. According to Bloomberg, there will be approximately four minutes of advertising per hour. Advertising clips must be broadcast before, after and in the middle of series or films.
The new model is expected to launch in at least six countries in the last quarter of 2022. Netflix is hoping for great success from the new model.
