Try Netflix: Is the first month really free?
If you want to try Netflix first, you can simply take advantage of the free trial membership. Users then have 30 days to test series and films as they see fit before deciding whether or not to subscribe. All content is available for free during the trial month.
To use the trial subscription, you must first create an account. Among other things, the e-mail address, the password, but also the payment details are stored there. The latter is particularly important because the free subscription automatically becomes a paid subscription after the 30 days have expired. If necessary, be sure to cancel your test subscription in time.
Netflix: can I reduce the costs?
Apart from the trial subscription, Netflix does not offer discounted rates, for example for pupils or students. If you still want to save, you can at least split your account (in standard or premium subscription) between several people and thus spread the costs. Sharing subscriptions is allowed provided that people must live in the same household.
Paying for a Netflix subscription: Here's how
Paying with Netflix is very simple: Paypal, credit card, direct debit and SEPA direct debit are available, depending on your needs.
Alternatively, the service of Streaming also offers Netflix voucher cards that you can use to top up your own credit. These are available at many supermarkets, retailers and electronics stores. Prepaid cards are available in different credit amounts, for example 15 euros, 25 euros or 50 euros. However, gift cards can only be added to an account in the country where they were purchased.
