1.1 Check your network adapter
- press Windows key + R open a Run dialog box.
- Writing powerhell in the field and press Go in.
- Type the following command and press Go in To check if you have the correct version of the network adapter driver: Get-netadapter|select name, ndisversion
- If the return value displayed is greater than 6,30, your machine is operational to support Miracast for network capabilities;
- Close Powershell.
1.2 Check your graphics card
- Press Windows key + R to open a Run dialog box. In this dialog box, you type dxdiag and press Go in open the DirectX diagnostic page;
- Once the page opens, expand the Show and look at the bottom of the Drivers column for the controller model. If the controller model does not show WDDM 1.3 or higher, your system does not support a Miracast connection.
Sometimes the easiest way to fix a problem is to find out if your machine supports Miracast in the first place.
2. Configure Miracast
- Turn on the selected device you want to project to.
- press Windows key + I and select features.
- In the Bluetooth and other devices section, click Add Bluetooth or another device.
- Click on Wireless Base or Display.
- Click on your display device to project your Windows 10 machine onto it.

3. Reinstall network drivers
- press Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc in the field and press Go in.
- Click on the network adapters menu, then right-click on your wireless network adapter then click uninstall the device.
- Restart your machine.
- On startup, Windows will reinstall the network drivers.

4. Check your Wi-Fi connection
- press Windows key + R open a Run checkout.
- Writing ms settings:wifi network and press Go in to open the Network and Internet settings menu.
- Check that Wi-Fi is enabled.
