Fans campaign on Netflix to save 'Legends of Tomorrow'

There will be no DC season 8 legends of tomorrow as it was announced that the show was canceled after its seventh season. With Netflix offering Legends of Tomorrow in many countries around the world, some are looking to the service to give it a farewell series, but the odds are slim to none.
Broadcast on the American channel The CW, legends of tomorrow is the long-running superhero series starring Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz and Franz Drameh.
The series began airing in 2016 and ended on March 2, 2022.
In many regions, the show is available exclusively on Netflix. Much of Europe, Asia and Latin America received weekly episodes of the DC show, which is increasingly rare. Netflix in the US used to have first seasons every fall, but it got better to get new seasons just a week after each season finale.
Season 7, which is now the final season, arrived on Netflix in the United States on March 10, 2022. With this final season now on Netflix, that means Netflix will drop the series in March 2027.
Unogs reports that at least 30 countries are currently streaming all seven seasons of the show.
The reasons for the show's cancellation are unclear. DigitalSpy speculates this is likely due to internal issues at The CW, the ratings, and the Arrowverse coming to an end in favor of a new lineup of DC shows.
Keto Shimizu, who is co-showrunner for Legends of Tomorrow, took to Twitter to announce the cancellation on April 30, saying:
" Good friends. It was an incredible race. However, The CW has let us know that there will be no season 8 of #LegendsOfTomorrow. We are heartbroken, but also immensely grateful for the incredible work our cast, crew, and writers have put into the little show that could.
Thanks to our fans; his love and passion for our strange group of misfits made every break, every script, every journal, every cut and every mix a hard work. We see you, we love you, and you'll always have a place on the Waverider. »
The cancellation came as a shock to many, as The CW is usually pretty good at letting their shows end well.
The premature cancellation prompted fans to create petitions and take to social media to try to save the show. Most of the conversation uses the #SaveLegendsOfTomorrow hashtag.

Could and should Netflix revive Legends of Tomorrow?
In reality, the chances of the series reviving on Netflix are slim to none, at least from our perspective.
Previously, Netflix show renewals were often for shows with less mileage on the clock (fewer seasons) and not as deeply related to other shows like legends of tomorrow It is. With much of the Arrowverse set to leave Netflix over the next decade for HBO Max, that's naturally where the show should be renewed anywhere.
Our friends at Netflix Life are also pessimistic about the chances that legends of tomorrow (Is bat which also got the chop) getting a revival from Netflix.
However, fans will continue to campaign for Netflix or HBO Max to give the show the send off it deserves.
