I AM MORBIDthe group with old MORBID ANGEL , David Vincent (bass, vocals) and Pedro "Pete" Sandoval (drums), launched his "Morbid Party" European Tour 2022 on March 24 in Berlin, Germany. I AM MORBIDwhich also includes guitarists Bill Hudson (NORTH, DORO) and Kelly McLauchlincelebrates the 30th anniversary of MORBID ANGELthe second album of, “Blessed are the sick”.

I AM MORBIDthe current brand tour the first time Sandoval et Vincent have played together in 12 years.
Sandovalwho now lives his life as a born-again Christian, was forced to leave MORBID ANGEL in 2010 after undergoing surgery for a prolapsed disc.
Vincent told invisible oranges in a December 2013 interview that Pierre had "found Jesus", which meant that Sandoval et MORBID ANGEL were no longer "compatible".
Sandoval has spent the last few years recording and touring with TERRORIZERincluding the latest studio album, "Caustic Attack"was released in October 2018 via End of recordings.
A year ago, Sandoval released a Instagram video in which he answered some of the most frequently asked questions regarding his time with MORBID ANGEL. He said: “I have been asked who is my favorite singer or what era is my favorite – the era with David Vincent or with Steve Tucker. Well, I want to tell you that I love both eras. I had fun. I had a great time working with David Vincentand I had a great time working with Steve Tucker as well as. So "Altars of Madness" [1989] for 'Heretic' [2003], they are all masterpieces for me. We worked hard [on] these albums. So I tell you my answer that I don't have a favorite album, I don't have a favorite era, I don't have a favorite singer – I love them all. I had a great time in both eras with each album. »
Sandoval added: “And regarding the album released in 2011” – referring to MORBID ANGELis controversial Illud Divinum Insanus LP — “please don't ask me about it, because I have no comment on it — no comment at all, man. I remain who I am, I did what I did, and I'm so happy and grateful that I did what I did with these guys. »
In a 2011 email conversation with the Brazilian extreme som, Sandoval he was asked his opinion on Illud Divinum Insanuswhich incorporated industrial and electronic elements into MORBID ANGEL traditional death metal sound. " No comment ! I don't play on this album,” he wrote. He was then asked what he thought he would have done differently on Illud Divinum Insanus had he played on the disc. “More extreme deathgrind metal and less DJ, typical boring boring, I care less about industrial experimental like everyone else boring! " he said. "It's not that MORBID was all about! …Hmmmmmm, and I really don't care…! »
Originally announced for 2021, I AM MORBIDit is "Morbid Party" The tour had to be postponed due to the pandemic. But it finally happens in 2022.
Vincent left MORBID ANGEL in 2015. It has since been replaced by a Steve Tuckerwho previously handled bass and vocals on MORBID ANGELit is “Formulas Fatal to the Flesh”, "The Gates of Annihilation" et "Heretic" LP.
In a May 2019 interview with Jorge Botas du "World Metal" radio program broadcast on the Portuguese public television and radio channel RTP, Vincent said he had every right to perform MORBID ANGELclassic songs with I AM MORBID.
“Times come and life works as it does,” Vincent mentioned. “And there are times when… It's like a marriage – sometimes they don't always work out forever. But that doesn't mean that the kids we had together, that I still don't love my kids. Although Trey [Azagthoth, MORBID ANGEL guitarist and sole remaining original member] and I have irreconcilable differences, this does not prevent me from still having love and passion for all my children. »
He was asked what he has to say to people who insist he doesn't play MORBID ANGELthe first pieces of without the other members of the classical formation of the group, David says, “There are examples of this very situation… I mean, when ozy [Osbourne] left BLACK SABBATHthat didn't stop him from playing 'Paranoid' every night, even though he didn't write the song. In 2019, Vincent publié "Something Wicked Between"the first album of his supergroup VLTIMASalso with the guitarist Rune Erikson (formerly from MAYBE) and CRYPTOPSY drummer Flo Mounier. Two years before, Vincent released their first country single, "Drinking with the Devil".
