When the first Avengers (2012) was released and the MCU exploded in popularity, Kevin Feige and his team began to diversify the Marvel Universe by giving it a chance with TV series in which their Avengers, Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, have made appearances. .
And they were followed by several other projects that were released on the most popular VOD platform of the moment, Netflix.
The Marvel Series That Comes Home
While Disney+ is still far from a reality and the MCU expands to tell the story of the Infinity Gems, Netflix has opted for content with well-known Marvel characters but in more adult series , showing a level of violence - and sex - that we're never going to see in an MCU movie. These six series featured various characters who then eventually came together in their own series.
And while it started strong with the brutal, dark Daredevil - which Spider-man No Way Home made canon - and The Punisher, by the time The Defenders arrived, the success wasn't the same.
But this week, the entire Marvel series broadcast on Netflix returns to its home, on Disney+, on the VOD platform which has already released its own UCM series, such as the masterful Wandavision or the most recent Miss Marvel. It will be this Wednesday, June 29 that you will be able to review or rediscover these series, some with only one season and others with two:
- Marvel-Daredevil
- Marvel – The Punisher
- Marvel – Jessica Jones
- Marvel – iron fist
- Marvel – Luke Cage
- Marvel - The Defenders
