Another music documentary is heading to Netflix in the form of Shania Twain: Not just a girl coming to Netflix in select regions in the coming months.
Known for hits like Men! I feel like a woman, From that moment Yes you are always the only onethe Canadian musician has had an illustrious career in the music world, selling over 100 million records to date and earning the 'Queen of Country Pop' label.
Now, his career will be documented in a new documentary that is heading to Netflix, especially in the United States.
Netflix Canada and Australia are also expected to receive the documentary according to the "Worth the Wait" carousel within Netflix. Check this section in your Netflix app to see if you should receive Shania Twain: Not just a girl on your Netflix in the near future.
Information about the documentary is very sparse and not even an IMDb page is available for the document. There are a few threads on the Shania Twain forums following the documentary since 2020.
One of them understood that Brent Mason was interviewed for the documentary in April 2021 with an Instagram post that read:
Spend the day @sound_stage_studios being interviewed for the upcoming #shaniatwain documentary. I played guitar on four of Shania's albums and I talk about it and I play a lot of the guitar parts I created for all of those songs. Pictured with me is my good friend of over 30 years, Paul Leim, who played drums on all of these albums. »

The doc comes from producer/director Joss Crowley, who has previously made documentaries for other top musicians, including Mark Ronson and Ritchie Blackmore. He has also worked on titles such as Lenny Kravitz, Elvis Costello, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd.

This documentary comes as Shania Twain makes headlines as her Las Vegas residency makes a comeback. HelloMagazine reports that the show is one of the most popular in town right now, adding that “she was ready to give it her all for the final leg of her second set of concerts.
There is no release date available yet for the new documentary on the Netflix homepage, but as it is now displayed in the Worth the Wait section, we expect it to be available on Netflix in July or August 2022.
