The remarkable South Korean series revolves around a controversial issue. In Spain the issue is similar, as are the crimes. A few figures: in 2019, the number of minors convicted of sexual offenses increased by 29% compared to 2018. For its part, the Public Prosecutor's Office in its Annual report report that in 2020, in the Community of Madrid, 80 sexual assaults and 18 homicides were committed by minors.
The series shows this underground world of drugs and prostitution in which violence reigns, but at the same time it points out the differences in the application of the law for the powerful or for the downgraded. Nothing new under the sun. It is clear that fiction enriches the knowledge of reality. After seeing children's court we have more doubts about the hypothetical fairness of justice.
