The Lanesborough Hotel in London offers the ultimate Bridgerton experience. Over an afternoon tea, fans of Netflix's hit can immerse themselves in the stylish world of the series.
Attention Bridgerton fans! Have you finished the second season of the Netflix hit yet and are you still wallowing in the world of Lady Whistledown and Co.? Then on to London. Because there, the Lanesborough Hotel invites you to afternoon tea in the style of “Bridgerton”.
The hotel, just off Hyde Park, has embraced the hype and success of the Netflix series and decorated a dining room to reflect the show's decor for 'Bridgerton' afternoon teas.
From CHF 80 per person
Anyone who wants to feel like Miss Sharma or Lord Bridgerton for an afternoon can book a table for afternoon tea by 1 September 2022. This takes place Monday to Thursday from 14pm to 30pm and Friday to Sunday from 16:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. Depending on the offer, prices vary from 16 to 00 francs per person.
It's on the menu
The Afternoon Tea menu at 'Bridgerton' is impressive and looks straight out of the show. The manager is Kevin Miller, the pastry chef of the Lanesborough Hotel, who takes care of the physical well-being of the ladies and gentlemen present.
Customers can choose between different menus. Meat or fish dishes are available, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. There is even a special children's menu on the menu. Each pastry creation is inspired and led by a different key character from the series, such as Queen Charlotte, Viscount Anthony or Lady Whistledown, among others.
The Pall Mall cocktail
In addition to all the delicacies, the right drink should not be missing. The Lanesborough Hotel has created a cocktail called The Pall Mall. The refreshing drink consists of gin, white port and citrus fruits and can also be ordered without alcohol.
The cocktail is served in an elegant tall glass mug with a tea strainer filled with dried hibiscus flowers which give the drink a lovely pink hue. A floating lotus flower completes the drink as decoration, the national flower of India and a nod to the Sharma family.
Even the interpreters of “Bridgerton” Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton and Claudie Jessie, who have already visited the Lanesborough hotel, toast.
Which 'Bridgerton' character would you go to the Lanesborough Hotel for afternoon tea with?
