The Oscars have arrived! This March 27, all moviegoers will be able to attend the award ceremony which will take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, USA. In this edition, 23 categories will be awarded, including 'Best Actor', 'Best Actress', 'Best Director' and the one everyone wants to see 'Best Film'.
In this edition there are some categories that already seem to have their favorites up for grabs, everything seems to indicate that 'The Power of the Dog' will win the 'Best Film' award, this is surprising since it is a production of the Streaming platform, Netflix.
On this occasion the platform adds 28 nominations, it does not impose itself as its best year since in 2021 it obtained 35 and in 2022 it got 24. But without a doubt, this is aiming to be the year that gets the most awards.
This comes after numerous rumors indicating that there was a boycott against the platform by the Los Angeles Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Netflix has over 100 nominations, but has only won 14 Oscars in total.
