While the mystery surrounding Dr Disrespect's ban from Twitch dating back to 2020 has yet to be resolved, the legal dispute between the streamer and the purple platform has finally been resolved: Doc will no longer be seen there and it will stay on youtubewhere in recent years he has conquered a very large audience.
Judging from stats recently shared online by Stream Hatchet, Dr Disrespect doesn't need Twitch at all. The figures, which photograph the viewership trend from February 2021 to February this year, indicate an average of 1,9 million hours viewed each month, with a peak of 2,69 million recorded last December. Doc has consistently topped two million since September 2021 and shows no signs of slowing down.
Not least, the + 48% of hours seen compared to 2020, which is the first year on YouTube. On the Google platform, Doc also saw a higher peak of viewers connected at the same time: 500 on YouTube vs. 000 recorded in the past on Twitch.
Seeing this data, Dr. Disrespect could not help but gloat. In perfect harmony with his character, he commented on them by tweeting: “Powerful, athletic, beautiful…they are the complete package”.
