LONDON — Britain's Prince Harry has called it "terrifying" the moment his brother Prince William yelled at him during a meeting to decide his future in the British Royal House, according to the platform's documentary Netflix, which reveals the extent of its problems in the monarchy.
Netflix released the second part of the documentary "Harry and Meghan" on Thursday, in which the Duke of Sussex details the difficulties he encountered with the current King Charles III and the Prince of Wales, William, when they negotiated his departure from House Real -in January 2020-, and also negative headlines and articles towards Meghan Markle, which, according to Harry, his family did nothing to deny.
The Duke of Sussex has shared details of the important meeting he held with his family on January 13, 2020 in Sandringham, east England, about his plans to move overseas.
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN THIS MEETING
Harry says he was offered several offers and chose to have his job to be financially independent and, at the same time, fulfill public commitments to support his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
But “quickly,” says Harry, it became clear that this option was not possible, and “it was terrifying that my brother was yelling at me and yelling at me and my dad saying things that just weren't not true. And my grandmother, you know, sitting in silence taking it all in”.
“But you have to understand that, from the point of view of the family, especially his (the queen), there are ways of doing things and his last mission, his objective, the responsibility, is the institution”, the prince told about the meeting.
For Lilibet's first birthday, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan invited close friends and family for an "intimate garden picnic" at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor, on Saturday.
FROM FAIRY TALE TO RANCILAS
This second part begins with images from the wedding of Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, in 1947, and shows the popularity of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they married in Windsor - on the outskirts of London - in May 2018, as well as the success of her official engagements and the positive way Meghan was received by the people.
However, the relationship between the Dukes and the British Royal Family changed following the success of their official tour of Australia and the South Pacific in late 2018.
Prince Harry believes the family feared they could do a 'better' job than those more senior in the institution.
Among other things, the Duchess of Sussex explains her struggles coping with the restrictions of the Royal House, which oversaw what she was doing, and admitted she felt the urge to take her own life.

According to the documentary, royal officials broadcast negative news about the dukes to distract from less positive coverage about other members of the royal family.
Meghan Markle's lawyer, Jenny Afia, claims in part of the show that she had access to evidence regarding the information that came out of the palace against the Dukes of Sussex.
Harry also says the palace prevented him from seeing his grandmother on one of the visits they made to the UK when they were already living abroad, and that the Royal Household was prepared to "lying" to protect his brother, in reference to the incident at Sandringham during which William yelled at him.
The Royal Household, Harry said, had prepared an official statement, which had to be signed by him, which denied that William had harassed his brother.
"They were happy to lie to protect my brother and for three years they wouldn't tell the truth to protect us," complained Harry.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on the documentary, which was released before Prince Harry released an autobiography next January.
