Caviar can be relied upon to create custom iPhone and iPad designs and then put them up for sale. We've seen him make phones out of dinosaur parts, phones out of parts of the original iPhone, phones out of meteors. But these new versions of iPhone 13 Pro and iPad Pro are the most left to date.
The brand now offers gold models of iPhone 13 Pro and iPad Pro, engraved with quotes or signatures of famous people. You can check out the whole range here, and it's an odd assortment.
There are signatures from Elon Musk and Steve Jobs, two people loved by the most boring person you know, as well as Michael Jackson and Napoleon Bonaparte. These are all on iPhone, but there's also an iPad Pro with a quote from Rasputin (who's a real person, not just the song Boney M).
It's not just handwriting scribbled on the back, but etched in 24k gold on the back of the iPhone or iPad, usually with additional designs to give the devices a distinct look.
Should you buy a signed iPhone?
“Oh cool,” you might be thinking, “I love Michael Jackson, I'm going to buy an iPhone with his signature on it,” — well, there's a catch. This one costs $24 (about £540, AU$18)... and it's the cheapest.
Both Elon Musk and Steve Jobs cost you $26 (about £790, AU$20), which still seems cheap compared to Napoleon. Mr. Bonaparte will set you back $500 (about £36, AU$900), and this Rasputin iPad is a princely price tag of $75 (wow - £090, AU$57).
Why is Bonaparte so much more expensive than the creator of the iPhone? Well, that's because it contains the most gold of all – it looks like a gold bar from an old Western movie.
Oh, and those iPhone prices are for the 13 Pro. Buying an iPhone 13 Pro Max will cost you even more. Likewise, this is an iPad Pro 11, not a 12,9-inch version, and that larger model will cost even more.
If you wish, you can also submit your own quote, on a form at the bottom of this page which we have linked above. So you can put in your favorite Morgan Freeman line or your political speech – or, for an absolutely high-level power play, add a quote you said yourself.
Caviar devices are always expensive, as they equip custom devices with premium materials and high-end workmanship. But these are wild prices. You could probably conquer half of Europe for the price of this Napoleon phone.
