Billie Eilish has opened up about living with Tourette Syndrome in an in-depth new interview with Netflix.
The special, filmed as part of the series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction Starring David Lettermanfeatured the singer-songwriter speaking with the former late-night host about fame, music and her upbringing.
At one point, a change in the lighting in the room made Eilish shiver.
"If you film me long enough, you'll see a lot of tics," he said. " That does not bother me. It's so weird, I haven't talked about it at all. »
"The most common way people react is that they laugh, [piensan] that I'm trying to be funny," he revealed. "And I'm still quite offended by that. »
“The funny thing is, so many people have it that you'd never know,” he continued, revealing that “a few artists have it. [El síndrome de Tourette]”, adding that he was not going to “expose them”.
After Letterman expressed concern that the interview setup had made her condition worse, Eilish replied, "No problem."
“I really like answering questions about it, because it's very, very interesting. And I'm incredibly confused by that. I don't understand it”.
Eilish was diagnosed when she was 11 and had "little" tics as a child.

"For me, they are very exhausting," he confessed, but clarified that "now he's made amends with it."
