Young Horses announced that Bugnax is in the works on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and Microsoft Store) with a release date set for 28th April priced at $24,99, with a 20% discount at launch. The game will be included on Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and via the Cloud. Additionally, the free 'The Isle of Bigsnax' update will also be available at launch for all platforms, including PS5 and PS4.
Along with the announcement, a dedicated trailer for the new free update was released, in which Kevin Zuhn, Creative Director of Youn Horses, outlines the upcoming news for Bugsnax players. Bigsnax Island will add a new story lasting about three to four hours and missions in which we will explore the exploration of a mysterious island that has suddenly appeared in the sea.
Bugsnax is an action adventure that takes us to the strange world of Snaktooth populated by bugsnax, beings halfway between insects and snacks. Our goal will be to capture all 100 examples of the game, each different and with unique characteristics. For more details, we suggest reading our Bugsnax review.
