At the end of March, the time had finally come: The second season of “Bridgerton” has been released on Netflix. The new episodes revolve around the love life of Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), who is caught between sisters Kate (Simone Ashley) and Edwina (Charithra Chandran).
And the second season of the aristocratic drama again delights millions of viewers. As "Deadline" reported, "Bridgerton" was watched for 251,7 million hours in one week. In the first weekend alone, it was 193 million hours – an all-time high. However, a report today casts a shadow on this success: there would have been a huge boom behind the camera. Netflix has now announced that an employee has even been fired due to the harsh allegations.
Dave Arrowsmith is not just any member of the crew responsible for Bridgerton, he is the Responsible for the design of all products. The entire set of the show was under his responsibility, which also meant that he worked closely with the actors.
Anonymous Bullying Complaint Hotline
Portal 'The Sun' is now reporting that the head of product design has been fired for allegedly acting abusively towards other colleagues on set. He is notably accused of intimidation.
Arrowsmith's behavior reportedly led to the introduction of an anonymous employee complaints hotline. Netflix would therefore have wanted to know exactly what had happened in order to have an idea of the extent of the incidents.
The behavior has “crossed a line”
A source also shared several issues: Some employees reportedly "expressed concern about a number of different incidents." Netflix later reportedly decided that Arrowsmith had "crossed a line" and should be fired. The product designer shouldn't be slated for the third and fourth seasons or the Queen Charlotte spin-off.

A tarantula, a snake, three former jungle campers and of course "der Henssler": On Sunday evening, the season opener of "Grill den Henssler" started with a very special show. The show had a "jungle camp" theme. On this occasion, jungle diva Anouschka Renzi, reigning jungle king Filip Pavlović and jungle veteran Harald Glööckler ventured into the kitchen.
