The 2022 VMAs are less than two weeks away, and the big night will feature a few new artists, as well as some veterans. Blackpink, Jack Harlow, Lizzo and Måneskin are set to take the stage live, joining an already gone list of musical guests at this year's awards show.
Blackpink will go down in history twice in one night. The ceremony will host the band's first-ever performance of the single "Pink Venom," in what will be their first American award show. Pop star Lizzo will return to the stage with a rendition of her song "2 Be Loved" from her acclaimed new album, Special. The 2022 VMAs will return to New Jersey's Prudential Center in Newark on Sunday, August 28. The ceremony previously took place in the Garden State in 2019, hosted by Sebastian Maniscalco; last year's show aired from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
