A dive into realism with Unity.

Beside Unreal Engine 4, Unit is currently the most widely used game engine. And every once in a while, developers keep releasing amazing tech demos in real time. Now the team has released the tech demo titled “ enemies“where the focus is on” the digital human being “.

The two-minute teaser focuses almost exclusively on the detailed portrayal of one character, everything else plays a secondary role. Enemies is based on The Heretic tech demo, but technically it's taken a big leap forward. With the latest version of the Unity engine, photorealistic eyes, hair and skin have been some of the major improvements.

The tech demo will use all the features of High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP), Screen Space Global Illumination (SSGI), Adaptive Probe Volumes, Ray Tracing, DLSS and more. Below you can take a look at the video shared by the Unity team.

An additional tech demo will likely be shared these days while GDC is being held.
