Middle Eastern media group, OSN Group, has launched OSN+, a new Streaming premium which replaces the application of Streaming existing NSO.
The pay-TV operator said OSN+ marks the start of a new chapter for the group, embracing the growth opportunities presented by the growing SVOD landscape in the MENA region.
The group said it was committed to delivering the most compelling content of any SVOD service in the region by deepening its partnerships with major studios.
In January, OSN announced the extension of its long-term exclusive partnership with HBO, as well as an expansion of its NBCU relationship to include more premium TV exclusives and box sets from Peacock and Sky Studios.
It also announced deals for premium series from Endeavor Content and All3Media, complementing existing partnerships with Paramount, Warner Media, Sony, Discovery, MGM and Lionsgate.

The new Paramount+ series Halo will be available exclusively on OSN+ on the same day as its world premiere starting March 25.
OSN+ will also feature Arabic originals, including a local adaptation of the US series Costumewill be launched at the start of Ramadan, followed later in the year by the feature film OSN+ Original yellow bus. Other titles will be announced in the weeks and months to come.
The OSN+ business will be led by Nick Forward, previously head of content at Stan in Australia.
The OSN+ app will be available on smart TVs, iOS, Android and web-enabled devices, with a refreshed interface and improved discovery engine, the company said. The service costs $9,50 per month or the local equivalent, with a seven-day free trial.
The launch comes as competition in the market for Streaming MENA begins to intensify. OSN's competitor, beIN media, announced in early March the launch of a new Streaming for the region, TOD, combining entertainment and sports offerings.
