That's the plan with Netflix ads in Mexico
This new Basic package allows you to enjoy the platform's series and films at a lower price; however, you will need to run advertisements from time to time.
According to the FAQ page, this would be on average 4 minutes of announcements per hour. These appear before or during most content.
Moreover, the plan with advertisements does not have the whole catalog available, due to licensing restrictions. These shows and movies will appear when you search or browse Netflix, BUT they will appear with a lock icon.
It is important to mention that Ads will not be displayed on children's profiles nor will they affect the game.
Cost and comparison with other plans

As you can see, it's the cheapest with 99 pesos per month. Video quality is rated as "good" at 720p resolution.

Plus, like the other plans, you can watch Netflix on your TV, computer, cellphone, or tablet. However, on the basic plan with Netflix ads you cannot play content on more than one device together
Another feature that this plan does not have is downloading episodes or movies for offline viewing. Something the basic plan (without ads) gives you for 40 pesos more.

How to subscribe to the Basic plan with Netflix Ads
If you are new to Netflix, just go to the platform page to choose the package you want.
If you are already a Netflix member, you can change your plan to Basic with Ads. To do this, you must log in to your Netflix account, we recommend that you do this on a computer.
Then go to "Plan Information" and select "Edit Plans". From there you will need to confirm and update your selection for it to be reflected.
