The Sonic 2 Movie will follow with a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on August 9 (thanks, GoNintendo).
Original article [Thu 28th Apr, 2022 02:09 BST]: Sonic the hedgehog 2 may have just hit theaters, but it looks like the movie could be making its way to the service very soon. Streaming from Paramount.
According to news site SEGAbits (via IGN), the second theatrical release of Sonic the Hedgehog will hit the subscription service in Streaming Paramount+ next month, May 24.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hit theaters in late March (in select parts of the world) and debuted in the US on April 8. In the United States, it has now officially become the biggest video game movie opening of all time – and is approaching $300 million at the international box office.
Paramount and Sega also plan to release a live-action Knuckles series starring Idris Elba via Paramount+. If we hear any updates on the Paramount+ release date of Sonic 2, we'll let you know.
