Arlo Parks joins Phoebe Bridgers at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

Over the weekend, Phoebe Bridgers made her Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival debut at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Punisher– a heavy setlist and sit-in from British singer and poet Arlo Parks.

The set opened with a recording of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters," followed by "Motion Sickness" from Bridgers' 2017 debut album, Stranger in the Alps. The 27-year-old rocker then broke out to tunes from her 2020 album, Punisherincluding "DVD Menu", "Garden Song" and "Kyoto", before performing the title track of the LP.

Midway through the 12-song set, Bridgers played "Scott Street" and "Chinese Satelite." She followed that up with “Moon Song” and ICU “before performing “Sidelines,” a song she debuted days prior on April 13 at the Arizona Federal Theater in Phoenix. Read the full story here.

The final two songs of Bridgers' Coachella debut saw her welcoming Parks on stage to take on "Graceland Too" and "I Know the End." The latter released her first LP Collapsed in the rays of the sun in 2021. The album was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
