Between two mothers, this is the story of Alice Leroy, a little girl de 4 years old who disappears on the beach during a family outing. The police close the case and conclude that a drowning is involved. But eleven years later, Sarah Leroy, who still has not mourned her little Alice, thinks she recognizes her on a bus!
After playing a battered woman in L'Emprise (broadcast in 2015 on TF1) alongside Fred Testot, the excellent Odile Vuillemin takes on another dramatic character here. Alongside the former profiling star, we also find Armelle Deutsch, Samir Boitard and Julie de Bona (three of the actors in Elise's Secret), as well as François Vincentelli (who played in the series Sam) and the young and talented Marilyn Lima, discovered in Bang Gang, Eva Husson's film released in January 2016.
This 90-minute family drama is adapted from the British TV miniseries Torn, broadcast in 2007 on the ITV channel.
