Writing an internship report requires good planning. here is the steps to know how to write an internship report

1. Write the title

Place the title in the cover letter. Enter the name of your school, your name, your internship dates and the contact details of the company. The title should highlight the theme of your internship assignment, so there must be a title for each page.

2. Present the table of contents

add a table of contents so that the employer knows what to expect from your internship report. It should be the first part of your report.

3. Write the introduction

Present company characteristics. For example, tell how their day-to-day activities are going and what their status is in the industry. This can show that you have a thorough understanding of the company where you did your internship.

4. Describe your duties and responsibilities

Detail the tasks you performed during your internship. Describe your daily routine, the people you've worked with, and the projects you've worked on. Try to include numbers where possible to quantify your work.

5. Describe what you learned

Consider what you learned about the company and your work. Detail any new skills or programs you learned during your stay. Try to relate your experience to your university courses to show that you have gained valuable knowledge.

6. End with a conclusion

Add a brief conclusion about your internship experience. Explain anything else you want to learn, such as the different project management or accounting processes. Your Conclusion must fit in one paragraph

Remember that the internship employer, professor, and future hiring managers might read your internship report, so keep it informative and professional.

7. Appendix and Bibliography

The role of the appendices is to lighten the reading load by referring to the documents at the end of the report. There is no point in accumulating appendices that add nothing to your work. Remember that appendices that do not complement, qualify, or provide details of what you wrote during development will hurt your assessment.

Your bibliography should be presented clearly in alphabetical order or by subject. Your bibliography can be as short as it is useful and relevant to your content.

How to present your internship report?

The presentation should be simple, clear and airy. Make sentences short and understandable. Check your spelling and get proofread. It is best to put the sheets of your report in bound plastic sleeves, to use a binder, or to have it bound.

If it is the report of your 3e discovery internship, you probably have a booklet to fill out; otherwise, your report should not exceed ten pages. If it is a professional baccalaureate internship report, follow your teacher's instructions. And don't wait until the last minute!
