It has opted for upstream control of its production over the entire summer of 2019 by the early cancellation of more than 2.241 flights to improve the service provided to its customers. As a result, its traffic fell 19,2% in September 2019, compared to the same period in 2018.

The number of passengers transported (all activities combined) thus decreased from 393.619 to 318.021 passengers for the same period. The number of passengers on scheduled flights fell to 278.678 people (-12,2%). Ditto for charter flights which also fell by 36,6% from 59.023 to 35.641 passengers.

For its part, the load factor for all activities improved, going from 74% in September 2018 to 74,7% in September 2019, i.e. an increase of 0,7 points.

The punctuality of the TU fleet has improved significantly, going from 37% in September 2018 to 46% in September 2019, i.e. an increase of 9 points.

During the month of September 2019, the delays were both less numerous and less severe in terms of duration compared to the same period of the year 2018 with an average delay of 1:09 in September 2019 against 1:30 in September 2018.

Thus, 42% of passengers were not delayed against 34%, 79% of passengers suffered a delay of less than one hour against 69% and only 4% of our passengers suffered a delay of more than 3 hours in September 2019. compared to 8% in September 2018.

Test & Reviews of Tunisair Promotions

The idea is attractive because the Tunisair offer offers really interesting prices to several destinations often visited by Tunisians. The Tunisair promo, and since its launch around 2018, was a success and this is also the reason why several travelers have started to plan their vacations and trips according to the annual calendar of Tunisiair promotions.

Personally, I have benefited from the promotion on several occasions, but the only problem was the additional costs added during purchases in Tunisair agencies.

Indeed, when you buy a plane ticket from a Tunisair agency, I have often noticed that additional prices are added, therefore, the prices displayed on the site are far from that which you pay to the agency, and strangely this detail is not mentioned on the Tunisair site.

On the other hand, when you see the promotion poster, it is often kept in mind that these 15 countries are at 389 TND Round trip, except that this is not the case in 100% of cases where I booked my flights with Tunisiair and during a promo.

Personally, I think that the Tunisair promotions are a very good initiative and a crucial marketing lever for a company, but as with most establishments and service providers in Tunisia: It lacks practice!

Figures, statistics, promos, speeches and press releases we love them, but we LOVE seeing in practice evaluating things, feeling the good service in the establishments (and I love seeing a return booking at 389 DT exactly?)
