Tekken: Bloodline tells the tumultuous story of young fighter Jin Kazama in six episodes. When will the Netflix anime resume?

The adaptations of video games are not new to Netflix. DOTA and Splinter Cell have already received their own anime series from the service Streaming. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which adapts the open-world game of the same name, will also be released in September. Tekken: Bloodline is available this month and is based on a true classic from the video game world.

Tekken: Bloodline – Animated battles based on video games

Almost everyone is familiar with Tekken. The series of video games, in which you can fight with various martial arts and absurd moves, is a true arcade classic that also appeared for the PlayStation. Bloodline's plot begins between Part Two and Part Three and focuses on popular protagonist Jin Kazama and his fate.

As a child, his mother taught him her family's self-defense arts, the traditional Kazama style. Despite this, he was helpless when suddenly a monstrous evil appeared, destroyed everything he held dear and changed his life forever. Angry at himself for not being able to stop him, Jin swore revenge and sought absolute power to achieve it. His quest leads to the ultimate global battle – the King of Iron Fist Tournament.

How is Tekken: Bloodline Season 2 going?

Season 2 of Tekken: Bloodline has not been confirmed yet. This should not be a bad sign, because the giant of the Streaming usually waits several weeks before deciding on the future of a series. Bloodline celebrated its premiere just a few days ago.

The anime adaptation seems to have been relatively well received by Netflix customers. Although we don't have specific access numbers, Tekken: Bloodline was in Netflix's top 10 shortly after launch. Only the series that are currently the most popular on the portal can be found there. If Netflix confirms a second season, it's entirely possible that we can expect the new episodes sometime next year.
