Sharing Netflix accounts is actually forbidden anyway
Sharing login data outside of your own household is actually prohibited under Netflix's Terms of Service. Nevertheless, many users do. As part of an international test, the group now charges a fee. Netflix is making another attempt to restrict unauthorized account sharing. The giant of Streaming will soon launch a trial where primary account holders can let users outside their household watch for a fee.
Netflix is testing its new license fee in these countries
The new feature will first be tested in Chile, Costa Rica and Peru in the coming weeks. It costs the equivalent of around 2,70 euros. If well received in the test countries, this option could also be introduced in other countries such as Germany. (ntv/rsa)
