NBA 2K23 is experiencing a slew of negative reviews on Steam. Almost all of the negative feedback regarding the lack of next-gen features for the game as happened on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, including graphics that are on par with those of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In reality, the playing time used is detrimental to the effectiveness of these reactions. Many have been written by people who haven't played more than twenty minutes, which is enough to get it started and set up. He suggests that this is more of a form of protest (organized or not) than a real bombardment on the quality of the game.

But we're not just talking about old-gen graphics. In fact, other reviewers are complaining that NBA 2K23 is a cut-and-paste from its predecessor and lacks an anti-cheat system on PC. Finally, other reviews report the presence of a full-bodied stutter despite high-performance PCs. Despite this, the game is second in the Steam sales charts, right after the Steam Deck.
