Will The Sims 5 come to PC?

Will The Sims 5 be coming to Switch?
As of this writing, no statement has been made by Maxis or EA on whether The Sims 5 will launch on Switch.
We think it's likely that the series will head into this patch, simply due to the popularity of the console. Looking at how The Sims 4 was launched, it took a few years for the franchise to branch out from just a PC release and also be available on PS4 and Xbox One.
It could be that EA does something similar with an eventual Switch version if they plan to release Les Sims 5 for this device. Of course, this is pure speculation at this point.
