Our opinion

The Tailor is an intriguing series which, from its first episode, immerses us in a complex and mysterious scenario. The writers have crafted a story rich in twists and turns that keeps the viewer in suspense throughout the episode. The series explores difficult themes such as domestic violence and mental disability, which gives added depth to the characters and their story.

The performances of the actors are excellent, especially those of Cansu Dere and Bora Akkas, who respectively embody the characters of Esvet and Peyami with great conviction and remarkable sensitivity. Their on-screen chemistry is also very palpable, making their relationship complex and intriguing.

However, the series can feel overly complex at times, with plot twists that can feel unnecessary or inconsistent. Some scenes may also seem absurd or unbelievable, which can frustrate the viewer.

Overall, The Tailor is a gripping series that offers an insightful look into human nature and its darkest secrets. The acting performances are excellent and the plot is dense and intriguing, despite some minor shortcomings.
