BookNode — The cream of books

The operation of Booknode is based on several key features. First of all, each member has a dedicated page called “My Library”, where they can list all their readings in order of preference. Over time, the user acquires badges based on their seniority on the site and their reading experience in certain genres.

The site also has a forum where members can discuss their readings and share their own writings, as well as the "Lists" feature which allows each user to rank their books in order of preference. These lists are then used to establish the proximity of tastes between members and suggest similar readings.

Booknode and plagiarism controversy

Despite its success, Booknode experienced controversy in 2011 over accusations of content plagiarism. The site's publishing company apologized and tightened the control of new articles published on the site.

Finally, anxious to evolve and develop, the publishing company has created cinenode, a version of Booknode dedicated to movies, which was launched in 2013.

All in all, Booknode is a go-to website for book lovers looking to share their literary tastes and discover new titles. With its many features and active community, it offers a social and interactive reading experience that is attracting more and more readers around the world.

My opinion on BookNode

Booknode is undoubtedly one of the best sites for book lovers, who seek to expand their virtual library and discover new literary works. Indeed, this site constitutes a real giant virtual library, accessible to everyone, without restriction borders or spatial issues.

Registration is very easy, with a pseudonym and an e-mail address. Once registered, you can create your personal virtual library, by integrating your current readings, the books in your pile to read or simply your desires.

You can also classify your readings according to your tastes, according to your degree of appreciation, by using the different lists available: diamond, gold, silver, bronze, as well as the “read also” list, if the reading did not inspire you too much. If you have books that you no longer want, you can delete them by placing them in a trash can.

Once your books are added, you can include the reading date and thus create a history of all the books you have read, classified by month.

Each member receives badges based on their reading style and tastes, such as Fantasy, Romance, etc. But there are also badges depending on its activities, its presence, such as adding comments or covers. Each member can thus evolve at their own pace towards the “higher grade”.

You can also find your reading friends thanks to their pseudonyms and make new ones according to the compatibility of your libraries.

Booknode is also a wealth of information about books, with the list of outings for the week, most read books ou The best sellers, the current book, the cream of books, literary events, a blog, news and quiz books, a forum, as well as information about the authors.

If you notice an error on any of the books you are viewing, such as incorrect title or different cover, duplicate book, etc., just report it with a few clicks, and after verification, the change is operated.

In short, Booknode is an inexhaustible source of book inspiration that allows you to broaden your reading field and discover many books corresponding to your tastes. The site also offers other books based on which ones you have read or viewed.

Booknode is the essential site for all readers in search of new literary horizons.
